Leroy Salas

Age 76, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019. He was born in Walsenburg, CO on August 23, 1942, to Aaron Salas and Dora Suzanne Pino. He was preceded in death by his  wife, Nancy Salas; parents Aaron and Dora Salas; siblings, Sammy, Eddie, Tony Salas, Lucile Trujillo; granddaughters, Brenda Salas, and Veronica Garcia. Leroy is survived by his children, Anthony Salas, John Salas, Alice Griñe, Anna Marie Salas; siblings, Larry Salas, Beverly Garcia, Margie Trueheart, Marie Decker; step-siblings, David, Chris, Carolanne; nine grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, May 31, 2019, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 31, 2019, at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Burial will take place at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery following service. Leroy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
