Age 52, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015. She was born in San Diego, CA on December 3, 1962, to Nathaniel and Julia Engel. She attended Lackey High School in Indian Head, MD and graduated from Santa Fe Community College as an RN. She worked at UNM Hospital as an RN for eight years. Leslie enjoyed cooking, camping, gardening, sewing, hiking and swimming. She was preceded in death by her father Nathaniel Joseph Engel and her brother Nathaniel Joseph Engel Jr. Leslie is survived by her husband, Scott Sweeney of Edgewood, NM; her son James Dunn of Edgewood, NM, her mother, Julia Engel of Edgewood, NM, her sister, Teresa Madella of St. Leonard, MD; and her beloved dog, Harley. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 10:00am at Daniels Family Funeral Services Wyoming Chapel. Service will follow at 11:00am with a reception at 12:00pm.
