Eddie (Lewis) Jones passed away unexpectedly on June 8th, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Nancy Jones, daughters Amy Schum and Holly Lovato, son-in-law Matt Lovato, grandchildren Sabrina Schum and Noah Lovato, nephews Phil Villella and Scott Austin, niece Laura Cross, sister Becky Scott and sister-in-law Jo Austin. He was preceded in death by his son Brian. He received his Master's in Education from the University of New Mexico in 1972, taught at Jackson Middle School for 32 years, and retired from Sandia Prep in 2011. He had a wonderfully wry sense of humor and was cherished by the many he touched with his aptitude for teaching and love of knowledge. Eddie enjoyed travel, fishing and the great outdoors. His memorial service will be held Thursday, June 14th at 10:00 a.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services on Wyoming NE. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the NM chapter of MADD.
