Lila Prieto

Prieto, Lila Age 15, our courageous and precious angel, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013 with her brokenhearted family at her side. Lila, whose favorite color was pink, taught us about strength and how to be an incredible friend. She was a Sophomore at Del Norte High School. She loved all kinds of music, talking and texting on her phone, computers, eating McDonald's Chicken Nuggets and French Fries. Lila collected Panda Bears. She was her Daddy's and grandparents' little girl who liked to bully her uncles Sean and Aaron. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Linda Armijo and Elgie B. McCloud. Lila is survived by her father, Damien Prieto; grandparents, Ernesto and Martha Prieto, and Kathy Baca; a special thank you to caregivers and special cousin, ZeAnna Prieto; aunt Ashley McCauley; great-aunts, Cynthia Baca and Arlene Baca; and many other family members and friends who will forever remember Lila. A Viewing and Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 29, 2013, also at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque.
