Age 94, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017. She was born in Corrales, NM on November 12, 1922, to Jose G. and Hortensia (Gonzales) Rivera.
She was preceded in death by her husband Vivian Chavez and her daughter Vivien H. Seales Chavez.
Lillian, is survived by her loving sisters, Chela Trujillo & Viola Barela of Albuquerque, NM;
son, David Chavez and wife Sharon of Thousand Oaks, Ca.; son, Rudy Chavez & wife Gloria; son, Steve Chavez & partner Karen; son, Michael Chavez & wife Brenda; beloved youngest granddaughter, Breanna M. Chavez all of Corrales, NM; and numerous, grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great grandchildren.
Lillian operated the Sandia Bar with her late husband for several years, she also worked as an illustrious Harvey Girl. She enjoyed playing bingo, and going to the casino. Lillian attended the San Ysidro Catholic Church were she was a long time member of the Catholic Daughters. Many years as a volunteer at the voters booth.
Visitation will be held on, Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at San Ysidro Catholic Church, 5015 Corrales Rd, Corrales, NM. 87048 at 8:30 am. Rosary will follow at 9:00 am with a Mass at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park 4310 Sara Road SE Rio Rancho, NM 87124 at 11:15am.
