Lillian M. Cox

COX_Lillian M. Cox, 83, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 16 years, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2008. Lillian was born March 16, 1925 the daughter of Joseph and Delvina Marcoux Fugere in Lawrence, Massachusetts. She was a graduate of St. Mary's Catholic High School and the Lawrence Academy of Beauty Culture. She became the owner and operator of her own salon for over twenty years. Lillian also enjoyed dancing, gardening, music, and her family. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Rio Rancho. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Cox, Jr. in 1971. Lillian is survived by two sons, Charles Cox and wife Lauri, and James Cox and Sharon Bentley; four daughters, Elaine Colvin and husband John, Eileen Cox and Bill Bueche, Karen Carbonneau and husband Richard all of Rio Rancho, and Diana Hetzer of Pleasanton, CA; two sisters, Jeannette Riley of Scottsdale, AZ, and Patricia C. Robito of North Andover, MA; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
