Lilly Manzanares

Manzanares, Lilly was born on November 11, 1930 and was called home by our Heavenly Father on July 21, 2013. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Ezekiel and Lucinda Suazo, her brother Antonio Suazo and her great-grandson, Isaac Brown. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Alfonso Manzanares; her siblings, Lucille Romero, Larry Suazo and wife Lucille, Joseph Suazo and wife Viola, Joe V. Suazo and wife Socorro, Dina Suazo, Bea Sanchez and Lorraine Suazo-Garcia; her children, Sister Madeleva Manzanares CCVI, Alfonso Manzanares and wife Janie, Gloria Manzanares and partner Dottie, Ramon Manzanares and wife Darlene. She was also blessed with many grandchildren: Teresa, Dominic, Jude, John, Angelica, Julia, and MariaElena; great-grandchildren, Angelique, Senaida, Christopher, Marcus, and Monet; and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Lilly will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, July 25, 2013, at 9:30 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave NW, Albuquerque. Celebrant will be Fr. Anthony Borrow. Burial will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery following the service at 2:15 pm. Pallbearers will be Bailon Montano, Isaac Lovato, David Manzanares, Dominic Manzanares, Julia Manzanares and Rick Suazo. Honorary pallbearers are Liz Romero, John Manzanares, Jason Brown, MariaElena Sandoval and Jude Manzanares. In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Lilly's honor to a charity of your choosing. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to those caregivers who were so close to Lilly during her illness.
