Linda (Roybal) Garcia

July 20, 1943 — April 15, 2011

Linda (Roybal) Garcia, 67, of La Jara, left this earth to be with our Heavenly Father on April 15, 2011 in Farmington. She was born on July 20, 1943 to Anthony and Thelma Roybal in Durango, Colorado. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a self-less person with a heart of gold and saw good in all. Through all her earthly suffering, she maintained her grace, dignity and continuous faith. She will be greatly missed. We love you Mamasitta! See you later alligator ~ Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Rudy Roybal. She is survived by her husband, Ernesto Marino Garcia; sons, Michael Diaz and Michael, Jr., Rachael, Matthew, and Thomas; daughters, Sandra Garcia and Paul, Corrine Garcia and Selena, Judy Martinez (Joseph) and Kristin and Devon and Ann Kennedy (John) Amber and Steve. Linda is also survived by her brothers Richard Roybal (Tawanna), Tony Roybal (Kitty), Jerry Roybal (Audrey), and Robert Roybal; and her sister, Corrine Chantzis (Denny). Rosary will be today, Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 7:00 pm at Immaculate Conception Church, 6440 Hwy 550, Cuba, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Church with Father Tim Cervantes celebrating. The interment will follow at Santo Nino Mission Cemetery in La Jara, NM. A reception will follow the interment at Guadalupe Hall in Cuba, NM. Pallbearers are Paul Carrillo, Jr., Steve Kennedy, Joe Castillo, Alejandro Ortega, Carlos Ortega and Daniel Chavez.
