Linda C. Porter

Porter, Linda Carol Age 54, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013. She was born in New York City, NY, on September 22, 1959, to Julius and Elizabeth Weitz. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Weitz. She is survived by her father, Julius C. Weitz of; children, Kelly Porter, Lindsey E. Porter, Eric Porter (Melissa), all of Rio Rancho, NM; grandchildren, Aiden Porter, and Emma Porter both of Rio Rancho, NM; brother, Steven Weitz (Loretta) of Rio Rancho, NM; sister, Karen Blatt (Craig) of Corrales NM; aunt, Ethel Marrs of Kansas City, MO. Linda enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved being actively involved in her children's activities, whether it was on field trips, attending sporting events or watching her son graduate from the U.S. Air Force. Linda was very kind, loving, generous and selfless person always putting everyone's needs before her own. A Visitation will begin at 10:30 am, with Funeral Services to follow at 11:00 am, Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM.
