Lisa Kathleen Chavez Espinoza

ESPINOZA - Lisa K. Chavez-Espinoza, age 51, has gone to be with our Lord. She was a loving wife of 21 years to Ignacio L. Espinoza. Lisa passed away on February 12, 2010 at her home in Rio Rancho, NM, as she was surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband, Ignacio L. "Nash"; parents Abel and Alyce Chavez; sister-in-law Mary Caron and husband Sam; sister Jessica Lynn Chavez; brother Abel Alan Chavez and wife Michele; step-daughters Renee A. Jordan and Michelle L. Blair; son-in-law Michael Weisend and wife Stephanie, and grandchildren, Shane, Jordan, Sydney and Brandon. She is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews as well as many friends. Lisa was a graduate of Rio Grande High School in Albuquerque, NM in 1976. After high school, she attended UNM and attained her Bachelor's degree. Lisa loved working with children and young adults. She dedicated many years of her life to this work.
