MADRID- Lizzie Madrid, age 83, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2008. Lizzie was born on September 9, 1925 in Placitas, NM to Eufelia (Baldonado) and Juan Valdez, and was a resident of Bernalillo, NM. She was preceded in death by two sons, Ernie Madrid in February 2008, Gilbert Madrid November 2008; and grandson, Jason Chavez. Lizzie is survived by her husband, Alex Madrid; her loving children, Dorothy Gutierrez and husband Victor, Mildred Madrid and Leonard Chavez, Alex Madrid and wife Georgia, Sandra Chavez and husband James, Pamela Madrid, and Jay Madrid and Kim Hardyman; 21 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson; and numerous extended family members and friends.
