Lois A. Ratchford

RATCHFORD-Lois A. Ratchford, age 74, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, was called home by the Lord, Friday, August 22, 2008. Ms. Ratchford was an Albuquerque resident since 1977; she graduated from Omaha Tech High School, where she was a Letterman Club Queen. Ms. Ratchford was married to a career Air Force NCO; she was a member and Past President of the NCO Wives Club; past PTA President; past Cub Scout Den Mother; and was a Deaconess at the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Her career in sales and catering led her to become the Pentagon Executive Banquet Manager in Washington, DC, as well as a Deli Manager for Kirtland Air Force Base; a Supervisor for Albertsons; and top Sales Person for Casual Corner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Purcell Baugh and Freda Dotson; sister, Betty Baugh; and brothers, Jerry, Ed, and Earl Baugh. Ms. Ratchford is survived by her loving children, Deborah Marie, Monroe Jose and his wife Sue, Marvin David, Theodore Steven, and Patrick Daniel and his wife Orshe; her precious grandchildren, Kristine, Regina and Jasmine; her sister, Rev. Glendavon Sermons; and many other beloved family members and friends. Ms. Ratchford will be greatly missed by all whose hearts she touched. At the family's request Memorial Contributions may be made to a No Kill Animal Shelter or to a local Hospice Chapter of your choice.
