Lorenzo "Pork Chop" Gonzales

Lorenzo “Pork Chop” Gonzales, age 2, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 12th, 2017 surrounded by family.

Lorenzo was born on September 11th, 2015 to parents Benito Gonzales Jr. and Valerie Gonzales. Lorenzo “Pork Chop” was the neighborhood baby surrounded by immediate family, Great Aunts and Uncles, and cousins who loved him very much. His smile and laugh were contagious, and he brought so much joy and love to all the family. He loved to pray with his angel bear, watch SpongeBob, play and tease his big brother and was always trying to get into big brother’s room to play with his toys. He loved to pretend to be a little puppy and would also walk his big brother around like a puppy too. He liked to go camping, fishing and play in the water. He truly enjoyed vacuuming the house with daddy and helping mommy and daddy clean the entire house. He loved to dance with mama in the kitchen and enjoyed any type of music. He enjoyed being outdoors and playing with his big brother outside even on cold days. He loved to look at the moon, stars and planes in the sky. He liked to give everyone high fives. He was a precious little boy who was just learning to talk, and brought such light to everyone that ever came into contact with him. He will always be remembered and will live in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his parents, Benito and Valerie Gonzales, his big brother Giovanni, Nana Tina King, Grandma Darlene Quintana, Grandpa Benny Gonzales, Godparents Eric & Angelica Valdez, Nini Melissa Gonzales, Aunties Rachel Quintana, Angelica Aragon & family, Adrianna Salazar & partner Josh Chavez, First cousins Enrique Gonzales and Julie Chavez.

He is preceded in death by his Grandpa Leroy Quintana, Uncles Leroy Quintana Jr, Leroy Quintana, and Albert Quintana.

Services will be held on Wednesday, December 20th beginning with a 9:30 am viewing, 10:00am rosary, 11:00am mass and reception immediately following. All services will take place at Holy Child Parish located on 19 Camino del Santo Nino, Tijeras, NM 87059.
