Loretta Dea Skidmore

Loretta Dea Skidmore Age 83, long-time Albuquerque resident passed away on April 24, 2024.

She was born in Canyon, Texas and moved to Albuquerque at a young age.  She graduated from Highland High School and was later employed with the Albuquerque National Bank where she worked for 23 years.  This is where she met and married her husband Jack of 56 years.

She is survived by Jack, daughter Terrie Poulin and husband Tom, Granddaughters Stephanie Lawry husband Ben; Leslie Dunegan husband Josh, and six great-grandchildren.

Loretta was a good athlete; she played tennis, racquetball, and was a very good golfer. She attended Lobo basketball games and was a Dodger baseball fan. She loved Jesus and studying God’s Word. She served her family well and will be missed very much.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, May 21^st at Grace Church 6901 San Antonio Ave NE 87109. The family would like to thank Kathleen, Giselle, and family from Night-N-Gail Assisted Living for their support.
