Louisa V. Marquez

Marquez, Louisa V. Age 94, a resident of Rio Rancho for 6 years, passed away Friday, December 21, 2012. She was born in Arroyo Hondo, NM on June 25, 1918. Louisa, a Devout Catholic, avid gardener and enjoyed canning the foods she grew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Marquez; son, Gabriel Aloysluis Marquez; great grandsons, John Zachary Hansen; Hugh Marquez; brothers, Frank; Julian; and Gilbert Vargas; sisters, Clorinda Trujillo; and Teresa Martinez. Louisa is survived by daughters, Elvira Antoinette Parra of Rio Rancho, NM; Linda Bradley of Victorville, CA; sons, John (Marie) Marquez of Richmond, CA; Carlos (Gwen) Marquez of Green River, WY; granddaughter, Fran Parra-Hansen; grandsons, Brian Bradley; Hugh Marquez; Anthony Marquez; granddaughter, Leona Arndt; grandson, Gabe Marquez; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Amelia (Zarro) Davis of Las Cruces, NM; sister in law, Amelia Vargas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012, 10:30 am, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho.
