Louise (Nana) Davis

Davis-Louise Davis (Nana), 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December 26, 2009. She was born on April 28, 1917 in Dallas, TX, to Jackson and Bette Lou Tennison. She was a resident of Albuquerque since 1954. People were drawn to her because of her great personality and compassion for others. She never met a stranger she didn't befriend. Even the postman called her Nana. Louise loved the Lord and she showed His love through her kind and gentle spirit. Louise kept a smile on her face and love in her heart until her last breath. Louise was preceded in death by her two sons, James and Ray, along with her husband of 54 years, Carl. Louise is survived by her daughter, Anita Denton and husband Ray, sister, Bobbie Kennedy; daughter-in-law, Jeanette Sisson; Grandchildren Ray Davis Jr., and wife Dena, Kevin Denton and wife Kamie, Trisha Platt and husband Joe, Charlene Davidson and husband Darren, Gene Sisson and wife Traci; great-grandchildren; Tyler, Meghan, Chelsie, Bryan, Amanda and husband Sam, Tiffany and husband David, Krystal, Travis and Kody; great-great grandchildren; Jerry, Shyenne, Tristain, Natalie and Aubrey; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Thank you to the wonderful care givers at Casa Palo Duro and Hospice De La Luz. We love you Nana and you will truly be missed. Mom you're my hero.
