Services for Louise Lee Notah, 91, will be 10 a.m., Jan. 10, at Trinity Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Constance McIntosh will officiae. Burial will be in family plot, Chinle. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m., before services at the Trinity Presbyterian Church. Notah died Jan. 5, 2011, in Chinle. She was born March 24, 1919, in Chinle, into the Waters Edge People Clan for the Start of the Red Streak People Clan. Notah attended Fort Wingate High School. She enlisted in the US Army as a WAC on May 1, 1944. She worked for Chinle BIA as an education aide from 1950 and retired in 1982. Survivors include her son, Ernest Lee of Chinle; daughters, Judith Bahe, Luella Peterson, Barbara Begay, Genevieve Notah, Maxine Notah, all of Chinle; brother, Jimmy Lee of Chinle; sister, Mary Rena of Cortez, Colo.; 15 grandchildrne; 31 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Notah was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Trujillo; husband, Roy Notah. Pallbearers will be Chinle Department of Navajo Veterans Affair.
