Gwen (Lucille) Kalm, Beloved Mother and Grandmother, age 84, of Albuquerque, NM, succumbed to the evils of breast cancer on Friday, September 19, 2014.  Lucille was born in Victoria, TX on September 26, 1929 and was raised in northern New Mexico and was known as Gwen.  As an adult, she preferred her middle name Lucille.  She was preceded in death by her firstborn Peggy Lynn, her parents Seth Warren and Frances Templeton Newville, and her best friend Pat Wilson. Lucille worked in real estate for over 25 years, eventually owning her own office.  She enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the casino.  She enjoyed all types of music and loved to dance.  She was the "Dreamer"; always striving to make things better for her family and was sure she was going to win the lottery one day.  Lucille is survived by her two daughters, Linda Winters, husband David Miller, Melody Bridge of Albuquerque; four grandchildren, Neil Winters (Alicia), Cheryl Byrd (Lawrence), Roxanne Swift (Jeff) and April Shortle (Jim); seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.  She was also "Mom" to Vanessa McDaniel.  Lucille is also survived by her pets, Marilyn and Jaws, and many loving friends and neighbors. The family would like to thank Susan Lopez RN, and her aide Renee of the Heritage Home Hospice for their excellent care of Lucille.  A Visitation will be held on Thursday evening September 25, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 7601 Wyoming Blvd, NE Albuquerque. A Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2014 from 10:00-11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4109 Eubank Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday, September 26, 2014 also at the church. A graveside service will follow at Sunset Memorial Park at 924 Menual Blvd. NE with Bishop Douglas Nicholls officiating.  Pallbearers; Neil Winters, Lawrence Byrd, Jimson Shortle, Kyle Zirnheld, Tom Wilson and Bill Wilson.
