Lumpkin, Lucille M.

Age 63, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 at her home in Aragon, NM . She was born in Aragon, NM on May 19, 1954, to Jose and Cleo Leyba Milligan. Lucille was a very caring and loving person and always had a smile. She loved to sew and cook and no one ever left her house hungry. Lucille enjoyed playing bingo, but her true passion was spending time with her grandchildren. She was devoted catholic and a woman who was very strong in her faith. Lucille will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents. Lucille is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Michael S. Lumpkin; her beloved children, Cleo Mow and husband, Jake, and Cleve Lumpkin and wife, Shawnda; her adoring grandchildren, Jadyn Mow, Tekota and Hannah Lumpkin; sisters, Flora Riley and husband, Hollis, Helen Romero and husband, Bernie, Gloria Guerra and husband, Sammy, and Esther Deanda and husband, Lupe; and many nieces and nephews. The Holy Rosary will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the Santo Nino Catholic Church in Aragon, NM with the Mass of Resurrection to follow at 10:00 am. Father Anthony Dike as Celebrant. Interment to follow at Aragon Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jake Mow, Cleve Lumpkin, Tekota Lumpkin, Jadyn Mow, Hector Guerra, and Joe Romero. Honorary Pallbearers are Richard Day, Robert Day, Cooper Ayon, Cory Ayon, Rustin Riley, Waylon Riley, Clayton Lumpkin, John Dittmer, Wesley Shepherd, Tim Lumpkin, Raymond Ruiz, Bernie Romero, Hollis Riley, Sammy Guerra, Lupe Deanda, Colten Guerra, and Elijah Romero.  Lucille's care has been entrusted to Daniel's Family Funeral Services, 309 Garfield Street, Socorro, New Mexico 87801.
