Lucille "Lucy" Montoya

Montoya, Lucille "Lucy" Age 73, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, was embraced by the Lord and taken to her heavenly home, Saturday, October 12, 2013. She was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM. Lucy's pride and joy were her precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved family gatherings and enjoyed going to the casino to relax. Lucy was an avid fan of the San Francisco 49'ers. She preceded in death by her great-grandson, Angel Montoya. Lucille is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Johnny Montoya, Jr.; her children, Rick Sedillo, Christina Nunn and husband Gene; her precious grandchildren, Rick Sedillo, Jr., Mark Sedillo, Marie Montoya and husband Aaron, Jacob Sedillo, Brielle Sedillo, Ernie Nunn and wife Morgan and Desiree Nunn; great-grandchildren, Erika Garcia, Amber Garcia, Erin Montoya, Briana Montoya, Adriana Montoya, Daniel Sedillo and Skylar Nunn. Also surviving are her brother, Ralph Torres and wife Mary; sister, Gloria Garcia; and many other relatives and friends. Lucy will be greatly missed by all. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd., NW, Albuquerque, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
