Lucy J Gupton

Gupton, Lucy J. (Yncera) 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 in Socorro, NM. She was born in East Windsor, CT on September 1, 1922. Lucy was a resident of Socorro since 2005. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Lucy loved people. She enjoyed having company, visiting and absolutely loved to entertain. She was an excellent cook. Lucy also loved listening to Country music and going to Blue Grass Concerts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Yncera; her beloved husband, Darrell Gupton; and her three brothers, James, Sett, and Val Yncera. Lucy is survived by her devoted sons, Frank Champ; Bill Champ and wife, Sherry; and Daniel Champ and wife, Linda; three grandchildren, Lauren, Emily, and Teri Lyn Champ and her husband, Ken Schopfer and their daughter, Sofie. Lucy is also survived by her sister, Mary Tillonia; and her brother, Paul Yncera and wife, Patty.
