Lula Lorean Roberts

ROBERTS- Lula Lorean Roberts passed away Monday, June 6, 2011 at the age of 91. She was born on January 15, 1920 in Clayton, NM, she then moved to Albuquerque in 1941 and Manteca, CA in 1986 where she lived the remainder of her life near her son and family. She maintained her membership with the NM Chapter of the American Legion and the VFW. Lula enjoyed genelogy, ceramics and Brazilian embroidery classes at the Senior Center. She is survived by her only son, William Jarnagin and wife Katy and one grandson, Paul Jarnagin. Lorean was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 22 years, William Roberts; her parents Leonard H. Pettis and Minnie Bell; sisters, June Pettis, Esther LaMunyon, Mavis Dean; brothers, Leonard E. Pettis, James Pettis and other family and friends. A Graveside Service will take palace at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd. SE; Friday, June 17, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made in Lula’s honor to: Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave, Stockton, CA, 95204.
