Lukesh, Lupe  
Age 72, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at her home in Luis Lopez with her loving family by her side. She was born in San Antonio, NM on December 12, 1942, to Pedro and Demetria Garcia Armijo. Lupe enjoyed sewing and loved to work in her yard. She took great pride in her flower garden. Lupe worked for the Monette family for over 43 years and in her spare time she helped out at the second hand store. She loved to dance, especially to the music of her son's band. Lupe was a woman who loved her family and her faith and never missed a weekend at church.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Bobby Lukesh; and her sisters, Jennie Martinez and Gloria Spedelarie. Lupe is survived by husband of 53 years, Bobby Lukesh; her son, Carl Lukesh and wife, Jeanette; her daughter, Wanda Lukesh; her grandchildren, Carl Lukesh Jr., Gilbert Santillanes Jr., and Anthony Lukesh; her great grandchildren, Joslyn Lukesh, Macy Lukesh, Justyn Santillanes, Angelise Santillanes, Nathaniel Santillanes, Jacob Santillanes, Everett Santillanes, Alisha Santillanes and Aaron Santillanes; her brothers, Peter Armijo and Johnny Armijo and wife, Corine.  The Holy Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 9:30 am at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real, Socorro with the Mass of the Resurrection to follow at 10:00 am. Father Andrew Pavlak as Celebrant.  Interment will be in the San Antonio Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Anthony Lukesh, Carl Lukesh Jr., Gilbert Santillanes and Marcus Padilla.  Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Armijo and Andrew Baca.
