Lupe Soens

Soens, Lupe Age 67, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014. She was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on December 10, 1946, to Jesus and Amelia (Anchondo) Sifuentes. Lupe will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She retired from the Bureau of Land Management. She will be missed by her special friends at the Ceramic Club of Paradise Hills. She, also enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lori Soens; and brothers, Oscar, Ricky, Tony and Oscar. Lupe is survived by her husband, John A. Soens, of Rio Rancho, NM; children, John Soens, Jr., Brian Soens and wife, Brynn, and Londi Soens, all of Albuquerque, NM; grandson, Samuel Soens; siblings, Juan, Amelia, Margaret, Beth, Ernestine, and Rosemary; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who mourn her passing. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2014, at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Friday, January 31, 2014, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho. Lupe will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lupe's name to the charity of your choice.
