VALDEZ GARCIA- Lupita Lucia Valdez Garcia, 23, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM, was called to be a heavenly angel on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 with her loving family by her side. Lupita was born on November 9, 1985 to Victor Valdez and Maria Amalia Garcia Ontiveros of Albuquerque. She attended Hawthorne Elementary and Van Buren Middle School until she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Lupita is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Ramon Garcia and Jose Jesus Valdez. She is survived by her mother, Maria Amalia Garcia Ontiveros, and father, Victor Valdez; a child she raised as her own, Lorenzo; a sister, Anna Granados and her husband, Cesar, and their children, Cesar, Adriana, Samantha & Ashley; a brother, Victor Valdez and his wife, Jessica Artiaga, and their children, Angelie Ulisa, Ulises Uriah, & Victor Eloy; a sister, Erika Valdez and her children, Lorenzo & Jesus; half-siblings, Victoria Idali Valdez, Victor Ismael Valdez; Gloria Isela Valdez, and Victor R. Valdez; grandmothers, Margarita Ontiveros and Lucia Valdez; and many other relatives and friends who love and miss her so much.
