Lynette Christine Garcia

Ms. Lynette “Lyn” Christine Garcia passed away unexpectedly on January 27^th, 2023, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the age of 61 years old.

Lynette is survived by her mother Judith Annette Buehler of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, her stepfather Robert Byers of Rio Rancho, NM, her brother Daniel and sister in law Adriana Tenorio of San Tan Valley, Arizona, her stepsister Cari Byers of Las Vegas, Nevada, her son Mason Garcia and son in law George Fresquez of Albuquerque, NM, her son Jack Garcia of Joplin, Missouri, her step son Anthony Garcia of Los Lunas, step daughter Julie Garcia of Missouri, her best friend Jackie Lawson of Albuquerque, NM, her grandson Benjamin Garcia of Jewett City, Connecticut, her grandson Joshua Garcia of Newport News, Virginia, her grandson Robert Garcia of Belen, NM, and her grandson Anthony Garcia of Rio Rancho, NM. Lynette is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and by her loving animal companions, Paco, Fergie, Astrin, Lucy, Buddy, Bear, Max, Rome, and Desmond. Lynette is preceded in death by her ex-husband Arthur Garcia, her father Jack Buehler, her grandfather Archie Rivers, her grandmother Violette Rivers, her grandfather Henry Buehler, and by her grandmother Lorraine Buehler.

Lynette was born on Friday, October 20^th, 1961, to Judith Annette Rivers in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She attended Cibola High School and graduated with her Diploma in 1978. Afterwards Lynette attended the University of New Mexico for a time. Lynette married Mr. Arthur Garcia in 1982. They shared four children together. Lynette was employed by Route 66 Casino for one year. Lynette loved animals and every family member she ever had and was dearly loved by those who knew her.

Lynette often donated to Women’s and Animal Shelters. To honor Lyn’s memory, memorial contributions can be made to organizations like these, such as the Women’s Housing Coalition or Watermelon Mountain Ranch.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023, at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Chapel, located at 4310 Sara Rd. SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico, 87124, beginning at 10:00AM. Interment to follow at 11:00AM in Vista Verde Memorial Park, located at the same address.
