Lynn M. Parrott

Lynn M Parrott, 87, died Friday, June 24, 2011. He was born in Salida, CO. on August 5, 1923 to Clarence and Clara Parrott. He lived in the South Park area, Buena Vista and Hotchkiss, CO. He served several years in the Army in the early 1940’s. He married his beloved wife, Jean, on September 30, 1948 in Crawford, Colorado. They moved to Farmington, NM in 1950. He worked at various jobs before working 14 years for Schlumberger. He worked at the Post Office 19 years where he retired. He liked gardening, rock hounding and people. He never met a stranger, he talked to everybody. He was a member of the San Juan County Gem and Mineral Society. He is survived by Jean, his wife of 60 years, children, Barbara Williamson, Kenneth (Juli) Parrott, Sherry Parrott, Gary (Anita) Parrott, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. We wish to thank the people from Guardian Angel Home Health for taking care of Dad this past year and to PMS Northwest NM Hospice for the last three weeks of care and visits. You are great people.
