Macario Rivera

RIVERA_Macario (Phil) Rivera, 81, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed into the hands of our lord on January 19, 2010. He was born in Truqillo, New Mexico March 10, 1928. Macario was the last living survivor out of ten brothers and sisters. Magdelena Naranjo, Erna Cruz, Elias Rivera, Jose Rivera, Viola Cossio, Thomas Rivera, Charolette Attencio, Trudy Miranda, Manuel Rivera. Macario was preceded in death by his daughter Lorie Rivera Platte and Grandson Demian Rivera. His loving wife Victoria was his constant companion. His children are Ernie Rivera, Elaine Trujillo and husband Danny, Julie Bakke, and Phil Rivera. Macario has seventeen grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Macario and his wife Victoria operated and ran Macario's Mexican Food at Winrock for many years. He served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict.
