Madeline Johns

Madeline JohnsAge 69, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012. She was born in Hutchinson, KS on August 2, 1943. Madeline was preceded in death by her parents Dale Johnson and Sydney Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Bill, of 49 years. She is also survived by her three children, David Johns and wife Kelly; Lesley Abshier and husband Byron; Dale Johns; her grandchildren Billy, Stevie, Mikey, Ryli, Justin, and Ashton; two sisters Sheila Page and husband Gary; Lisa Johnson and husband Jeffrey Campbell; and two brothers Doug and Barry Johnson. Madeline and Bill have lived in Albuquerque for the past 36 years. She was active in Albuquerque youth hockey. Madeline was also a business partner in two local businesses: Cactus Flower Gift Shop and the Albuquerque Trolley Company. She also worked for two non-profit organizations: the New Mexico Home Builders Association and the Community Health Charities. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM. Services will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012, 10:00 am, at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque.
