Maetta Rieb

Rieb, Maetta passed on July 2. was born in St. Francis, Kansas on December 2, 1930, and married on June 24, 1950 to Fredrick who preceded her in death. She traveled throughout the western U. S. as an Air Force wife and got involved at every duty station through work with her children and her church. Always an avid reader and a skilled seamstress, she also enjoyed square dancing with her husband. Later in life she became a classic movie connoisseur and derived great pleasure from her nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren who will miss her dearly. Meatta is also survived by her children Mary K., Mark, Terri, Declan and his wife Elizabeth along with nieces, nephews and other in-laws. Special gratitude is extended to Casa San Pablo Assisted Living, its wonderful owner and staff for their loving care. A family ceremony will take place on July 12, 2012 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery where Maetta will be interred with Fred. The family prefers donations in memory of Meatta Rieb be made payable to Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation P.O. Box 26666 ABQ., 87125 with Presbyterian Hospice in the memo.
