Manuel Tarango

Tarango, Manuel 82, passed away Monday, August 19, 2013 at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Valles Zaragosa, Coahuila, Mexico on June 24, 1931 to Jesus and Rosario (Chavez) Tarango. Manuel was a resident of Socorro, NM since 1950. A carpenter by trade, he enjoyed woodworking as a hobby and took great pride in making things out of wood. Manuel also enjoyed his hunting trips. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Vicente and Jesus Jr.; and his sisters, Candelaria Tarango; and Leonarda Avitia. Manuel is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Cecilia (Padilla) Tarango; his daughter, Lupe Tarango Turner; and his sister, Nicolasa Valenzuela. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 2:30 pm at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 922 Ake Ave., Socorro.
