Manuela J Gonzales

Gonzales, Manuela J. 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 22, 2013 in Albuquerque, NM surrounded by her loving family. She was born in San Antonio, NM on April 19, 1918 to Tranquilino and Teresita (Padilla) Jaramillo. Manuela enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and crocheting. She loved working in her flower garden and raising her baby chicks. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Serafin Gonzales; her parents; her brothers, Tranquilio Jaramillo Jr. and Juan Jaramillo; and her sisters, Flora Cardenas and Lydia Jaramillo. Manuela is survived by her loving children, Raymond Gonzales and wife, Lala; Sylvia Vivian; and Michael Gonzales; and her brothers, Roy and Alex Jaramillo. Manuela will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Tanya Gonzales and husband, Patrick Padilla; Duane Gonzales and wife, Sandra; Christine Gonzales; Michelle Gonzales; and Brittney Romero and husband, Michael; and her great grandchildren, Kendrick Padilla; Jaryn Gonzales; Jasmine Gonzales; Jayla Gonzales; Amiah Romero; Joaquin Gonzales; Nathaniel Gonzales; and Michael I. Romero. A Holy Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 7:00 pm at the San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino, Socorro, NM. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 9:00 am at San Miguel Catholic Church with Father Andrew Pavlak as Celebrant. Interment will take place in the San Miguel Catholic Cemetery following the service. Pallbearers are Duane Gonzales, Jaryn Gonzales, Patrick Padilla, Kendrick Padilla, Michael Romero, Richard Jaramillo, Bobby Jaramillo and Mando Renteria. Honorary pallbearers are Jasmine Gonzales, Jayla Gonzales, Amiah Romero, Joaquin Gonzales, Nathaniel Gonzales, and Michael I. Romero.
