Manulia Lula"" Gabaldon

Manulia "Lula" Gabaldon passed away on October 15, 2009 surrounded by her loving family, she was 90. She was born on March 13, 1919 in Seboyeta, New Mexico to Cruz Saavedra and Trinidad Archunde Saavedra. Ms. Gabaldon was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, and was active for 12 years with Grants Headstart foster grandparent program. She is survived by four sons; Tommy Gabaldon Sr. and his wife Margie of Grants, Eddie Gabaldon and his wife Stephanie of Paragon, Indiana, Ralph Gabaldon and his wife Connie of Grand Junction, Colorado, and Manuel Gabaldon of Grants. Two daughters; Betty Lovato and her husband Francis of Bluewater, and Evelyn Ruelas and her husband Felipe of Grants. Twenty-nine grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren, survive her. She was preceded in death by her husband; Manuel Gabaldon. Her son; Santiago Gabaldon, her daughter; Shirley Gallegos, her grandson; Bobby Gabaldon and her granddaughter; Sandra Martinez. Cremation will take place. Pallbearers include; Monique Johnson, Jerome Gabaldon, Virgil Martinez, Tommy Gabaldon Jr., Jesse Lovato, and Valerie Gabaldon. Honorary Pallbearers include; Jeff Lovato, Anthony Gabaldon and Greg Gallegos. Lula's care has been entrusted with Cope Memorial Chapel 1830 Barbara Ave. Gallup, NM 87301 (505) 722-6671
