Margaret Ayers

AYERS- Margaret (Gitto) Ayers, 75, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 1, 2011. She is survived by her children, Stephen Gitto and wife Kathy of Minnesota, Sheryl Baca and husband Edward, Christopher Gitto, Anthony Gitto and wife Michelle; grandchildren, Susan Torres, April Weaver, daughter Aria and husband Curtis, Amber, Giovanna and Anthony Gitto; beloved great grandchildren, Dominic and Jazmine Anderson, whom she cared for since birth; her brother, Roy Scimonelli and wife Pat and many loving nieces, nephews and friends and by a very special love in her life, Joseph Gallo, of New York. She was preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Susan Jeanne Gitto, her parents, Mariano and Antoinette Scimonelli and her sister, Frances Keck. Margaret was deeply loved and will truly be missed by all who knew her. Margaret will always be remembered for her passion for cooking for anyone and everyone she came in contact with. We will never forget you and your life, so beautifully lived and your heart, so deeply loved. A Viewing and Visitation will be held 5:00pm ~ 8:00pm, Wednesday, April 6, 2011, Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Road Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, April 7, 2011, Calvary Chapel of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna Road NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, 505-344-0880. Interment will follow services at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road SE and Meadowlark Lane, Rio Rancho, NM.
