Margaret A. Carrillo

Margaret “Maggie” Carrillo, age 78, passed away on January 21, 2018 in Albuquerque, NM. Maggie was born on March 04, 1939 in Albuquerque, NM to her loving parents Gorgonia and Flavio Vigil. Maggie attended Valley High School. Maggie enjoyed crocheting dresses for dolls, sewing, she also loved going camping with her family, spending hours watching drama movies and even dancing back in the day. Maggie was known around town for her awesome Burritos and named the Burrito Lady to her customers.  She also had a passion for cooking and surrounding herself with her children, grandchildren and friends as much as possible. She had a special bond with her grandson Mikey that will be forever cherished. She was a wonderful Mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her dearly.

Maggie is preceded in death by both of her parents Gorgonia and Flavio Vigil and her son David Carrillo.

Ms. Carrillo is survived by her three beloved children; her daughter Deborah Carrillo, her son Michael G. Carrillo both of Rio Rancho, NM, her other son Dennis L. Carrillo of Santa Fe, NM; her 6 grandchildren and her several great grandchildren.

A rosary will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 6:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services Southern Chapel, located at 2400 Southern Blvd, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 10:30 am at St. Thomas in Rio Rancho, NM.

Burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Friday, January 26, 2018 at 12:00 pm.
