Margaret DeVolk

Margaret (Dede) DeVolk, age 90, passed away Sunday, November 5^th, 2023 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born January 24, 1933 to her parents Pat Sr and Carmen (Murphy) Chavez.

          She was a graduate of Albuquerque High School.

          She was preceded in death by her spouse; Gerald DeVolk; her parents; Pat Sr and Carmen (Murphy) Chavez; her son; Alex Montoya; and her brothers; Pat Jr, Joe, Wilfred, and Danny.

          Margaret is survived by her sisters; Pauline Perea, Becky Davis, and Frances (Joseph) Griego; her grandchildren; Greg and Andrea Montoya; her great grandchildren; Noah, Isaiah, Alex, Heaven, and Angel; her sister-in-laws; Rita, Barbara, and Maria; by many loving nephews and nieces; many cousins and all her casino friends. Our love and special thanks to Sandra, David, and Sonya who took special loving care of her.

We will always remember her as we sit and watch her Cowboys!

Services are as followed:

A Rosary Will be held at St. Therese of the Little Flower;

                   Date: Thursday, November 16^th, 2023, at 5:30 pm.

Interment will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery;

                   Date: Friday, November 17^th, 2023, at 10:00 am.
