Pargas, Margarita M.
Age 81, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 16, 2017. She was born in Socorro, NM on July 17, 1935, to Salomon and Antonia (Otero) Madril. Margarita was a lifelong resident of Socorro. She was employed with Eagle Pitcher for a short time and then went to work at Randy's Laundry Mat where she enjoyed visiting with customers. She loved to cook, bake, sew and crochet. She also enjoyed watching the kids play sports. She was devoted to her family and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Antonio Pargas; sisters, Benita Cancino, Victoria Chavez and Maria Dolores Vivian; and brother, Salomon Madril Jr. Margarita is survived by her devoted children, Dicky (Josie) Pargas, Tammy (Richard) Molina and Natalie Pargas and her dog Che; grandchildren, Angela Duran, Mickaela Pargas, Jason Bransford, Terri Rodriguez, Antonio Nathan Pargas and Joe Rodriguez; great-grandchildren, Leondra Pargas, Breena Baca, Carlos Duran-Rael, Sheridan Aragon, Jasenya Chavez, Karma Trujillo, Kyra Zamora-Pargas, Jason Jr., Cadence and Sutton Bransford; and great great grandson Izaiah Fabian. The Holy Rosary will be recited on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at 7:00 pm at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real , Socorro, with The Mass of Resurrection celebrated on Monday, April 24, 2017, at 9:00 am at San Miguel Catholic Church.  Celebrant Father John Anasiudu.  Burial will take place at San Miguel Catholic Cemetery  following service. Pallbearers will be Joe Rodriguez, Antonio Nathan Pargas, Matias Garcia, Jason Bransford, Devin Foulenfont and Samuel Vivian. Honorary pallbearers are Carlos Duran - Rael, Izaiah Fabian, Jason Bransford Jr. and Iziah Montoya. A reception will follow at The Eagles Club,1111 N. California St, Socorro.
