76, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 21, 2015 with her loving family at her side. She was born in Manzano, NM on March 14, 1939 to  Martin and Clarita Lopez. Mary was a life long resident of Socorro, moving here when she was only 17 years old. She was a wonderful lady who loved everyone. Mary was affectionately known by many as "Grandma G" and she will forever be remembered as a woman who treated everyone she met, like family. She was very strong in her faith as she raised all of her children on her own after the untimely passing of her beloved Pete. She enjoyed going to the fiestas. Mary was a good cook and loved to be surrounded by her family and friends. Mary was an avid Bingo player and played her favorite numbers every time. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Pete in 1984; her infant daughter, Carol; grandson, Andrew; son in law, Jorge; her parents; and her brothers, Manuel; Lorenzo; Albino; Isadias; and Franscisco. Maria  is survived by her devoted children, Angela and Tommy; Tony and Bonnie; Irene and Jaime; Clarita and Felipe; Vickie; Larry; John and Marie; Billy and Susan; Yolanda and Manny; and her grandson, PJ, who she raised as her son; her brothers, Nazario; Ted; and Willford; her sisters, Oralia; Pauline; and Cristella; and many other loving family members, nieces, nephews, and close friends. Grandma Mary will be greatly missed by her 41 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren. A Visitation will take place on  Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm at The Daniels Family Funeral Services - Socorro Chapel, 309 Garfield St, Socorro. The Holy Rosary will be recited on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Capilla La Todos Angeles - Parish Hall of  The San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real, Socorro. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 10:00 am at San Miguel Catholic Church with Father Andrew Pavlak as Celebrant.
