Maria Nancy Brown

Maria Nancy Brown age 91, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022. She was born in Embudo, NM, on July 22, 1931.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Octaviano and Bersabe Romero; her son, Kenneth Brown; her sisters Ruby Breneiser and Lula Harris; her brother, Jose A. Romeo; and her children’s father, Phillip Brown.

Maria is survived by her son, David Brown of Tijeras, NM; her daughter, Karen Treat of Albuquerque, NM; her brother, Clovis Romero; her grandchildren, Jessyca, Corey, Anthony and Brittney; and her great grandchildren, Valentina, Zoe, Zack, Tilly, Bronson, and Saoirse.

Maria work for the University of New Mexico for many years. She loved to do crafts, painting, & coloring bird houses. She also adored her pets, Lillie, Ollie, Duke, and Mia.

Maria was a devoted mother, sibling, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be sincerely missed.

A visition will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Daniels Family Funeral Services from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. A rosary and eulogy at 5:00pm and reception to follow.
