Maria E Heckel

Heckel, Maria E 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 8, 2014 with her family by her side. She was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on September 19, 1927 to Dionicio and Maria (Santos Campusano) Nunez. She was a Socorro resident for about four years. She also resided in Albuquerque and in El Paso. She loved to have company and would cook for everyone. She loved flowers and knew the secret of keeping beautiful green plants. Maria enjoyed crocheting and watching her "Novellas". She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers and sisters; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Maria is survived by her daughters, Ana Maria Cereceres; Guadalupe Barley; Deloris McDaniel and husband, Emery; her son, Edward Heckel; and many other loving family members and close friends. Maria will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Gabriella; Ricardo; Juan; Elizabeth and husband, Rueben; Roberto and wife, Elizabeth; Christy and husband, Gerron; William and companion, Shauna; Neola and husband, Gerald; Casey and wife "Rosie"; and 23 great grandchildren.
