Age 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 4, 2016 in Socorro, NM. She was born in Socorro,  on August 26, 1930, to Victor and Teresita Lopez. Pilar was a special lady and was loved by everyone who knew her. She made sure that anyone who came by to visit never left her home hungry. Pilar was a woman of great faith. She and her husband Ramon served as mayordomos for several years.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Ramon Sarracino; her son, Victor Sarracino; grandchild, Bello Santo Gonzales; and her parents.  Pilar is survived by her daughters, Kathy Gonzales and husband, Pete, Patricia Vaiza and husband, Andres, and Becky Romero; her son, Raymond Sarracino and wife, Allison; grandchildren: Frank (Leigh Brown) Gonzales, Pete (Tracy) Gonzales Jr., Paul (Caitlin) Gonzales, Jacquelyn (Adrian) Morales, Marcus (Christina Cox) Sarracino, Matthew (Jessica Coffman) Vaiza, Madalyn (Mauro Portillo) Vaiza, Monique (Max Jaramillo) Vaiza, Cynthia (Ricky Rios) Romero, and Jason (Juanita) Romero; great grandchildren: Cesare, Vittorio, Luke, Graham, Antonio and Andre Gonzales, Maurito Portillo, Rayanna Rios, Emiliano, Santiago and Jessenia Romero.  Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services Chapel. The Holy Rosary will be recited on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 10:00 am at the San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real, Socorro with the Mass of Resurrection to follow at 10:30 am. Father Jose Hernandez as Celebrant. Burial will be in the San Miguel Cemetery. Pallbearers are Frank Gonzales, Pete Gonzales Jr. Paul Gonzales, Jason Romero, Marcus Sarracino and Matthew Vaiza.
