Maria G. Valdez

Valdez, Maria G Age 91, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, was embraced by the Lord and taken to her heavenly home, Thursday, January 3, 2013. She was born in Waldsenburg, CO and was a resident of Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents Bonifacio and Tivursia Trujillo; sons, Henry, Pastor Frank, Rudy Archuleta; and step-father, Luther Chavez. Maria is survived by her loving husband, Alfredo V. Valdez; her children, David Chavez, Joe Chavez and wife Freida, Ray Chavez and wife Lola, Eloisa Rodriguez and Theresa Hill; several grandchildren; and other numerous relatives and friends. Maria will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose hearts she touched. Visitation will be Monday, January 7, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth Street NW, where Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., with Pastors Ray and Joe Chavez, officiating.
