Age 18, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 near Lemitar, NM. She was born in Socorro, NM on April 4, 1997, to Tony Garza and Celina Martinez. Mariah received her GED from Socorro High School and worked at Smith's Store, Sonic and in Home Health Care. She was a very loving and caring person and very devoted to her family. She enjoyed taking pictures and loved getting dressed up.  She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Christine Gutierrez; great grandmother, Vivi Martinez, grandparents, Ezekiel and Mary Ann Padilla great grandparents, Arturo and Selfa Gutierrez; aunts, Crystal Gutierrez, Juanita and Alice Martinez; great aunt & uncle, Betty & Frankie Gutierrez; great aunt, Della Reese; uncles, Miguel and Pilar Martinez; and cousins, Mercedes Gonzales and Pamela Martinez. Mariah is survived by her mother, Celina Martinez; father, Tony Garza, grandparents, Juan & Emily Martinez; great grandfather, Juan M. Martinez; grandfather, Leroy Gutierrez; grandfather, Anastacio Garza; great grandparents, Edward & Martha Saavedra; brothers, Tony Garza and Mathew Garza; aunts and uncle, Vanessa (Evan) Grain, Christine Martinez, Cathy (Jeremy) Jaramillo, and Leroy (Melanie) Gutierrez.  The Holy Rosary wil be recited on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at 8:30 am at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real , Socorro with the Mass of Resurrection to follow at 9:00 am. Celebrant Father Edgar Sanchez.  Burial will take place at Lemitar Cemetery following service.  Pallbearers will be Tony Garza, Mathew Garza, Elrick Padilla, Caleb Sager, Armando Benavidez, Adriana Brawley, and Edward Garcia.  To view information or leave a condolence, please visit www.danielsfuneral.com.
