Marianna Reyes

Reyes, Marianna Age 88, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013. She was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico on April 17, 1925 to Jose and Modesta (Cancel) Nieves. Her family will remember her as a loving, generous women devoted to her family and friends. She loved sewing, traveling, classic movies, and good food. She had a special place in her heart for animals. She was a member of the Idalia Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses in Rio Rancho, NM. Her church family was always very loving and supportive and dear to her heart. Her family will miss her feisty temperament, daily words of advice, always being there whenever you needed her, spicy sense of humor and affectionate manner. Our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend will be greatly missed and will remain in our hearts forever. Mrs. Reyes is survived by daughters, Evelyn Sanchez and her husband, Clarence, of Rio Rancho, NM; Miriam Haydu and her husband, Steve, of Albuquerque, NM; Alexandra Garley of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren: Shannon Sanchez, Jacqueline Sanchez, Kristen McDaniel, Jared Olguin, Megan Olguin, Melissa Wright, Jesse Garley; great grandchildren: Natalie Ann Sanchez Cornay and Shadrach Clarence Sanchez Simpson; sisters: Gloria Nieves and Olga Mosher and husband, Ron; sister in law Romana Robles and husband, Jujo; and many relatives and friends. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 2400 Southern Blvd SE, Rio Rancho, NM. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, July 19, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Rd, Rio Rancho, NM. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm, at the Idalia Congregation, 3034 Nativitas Rd, Rio Rancho.
