Age 63, passed away Monday, September 21, 2015. She was born in Connellsville, PA on March 24, 1952, to Homer James and Catherine Fern (Slonecker) Friend. She was a resident of Rio Rancho for over 20 years. Marianne was an animal enthusiast and enjoyed raising fainting goats. Marianne will be missed dearly she was a generous spirit always willing to help others. She was preceded in death by her parents. Marianne is survived by husband, Larry Miller of Rio Rancho, NM; daughter, Robyn Huitz; three grandchildren, Lexi, Brianna and Nicolai Huitz; siblings, Sandra Friend, Larry Friend and Daniel Friend.
