Marie T. Bennett

 Marie Bennett 2/28/1932 - 12/26/2020 
Marie Bennett, age 88, of Albuquerque, passed from this life to eternity with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 26, 2020. She was born in New York on February 28, 1932 to Anthony and Alberta Lomonico. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Frank Lomonico, and the love of her life, her husband of 68 years, Harold, who passed away on November 23, 2020. 
Marie is survived by her sister, Virginia Klei, her children Anne (Tom) McCluskey, Mary (Jim) Wise, Ed, Rob (Teresa), James, Barbara, 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, with another on the way. She will always be remembered for her boundless love, her cooking, her wonderful sense of humor, and her selflessness when it came to her family, her church and her Avon customers. She was an avid gardener, growing fruits and vegetables for her family to enjoy. She was active in her church, serving on the women’s guild and as a Eucharistic Minister for many years. She was a Regional Assistant Manager and Avon Representative, achieving President’s Club status consistently. She will be greatly missed. 
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family will hold a private funeral service, with a public memorial in the future, when it is safe to do so. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Marie’s name.
