Marie L. Koike

Koike, Marie Lou Age 62, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012. She was born in Albuquerque, NM on May 30, 1950, to Onesimo Rios and Lucy Telles. Marie loved sewing, knitting, fishing and camping. She was a huge Yankees and Derek Jeter fan. Marie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lucy Telles, and sister, Pauline Angel. Marie is survived by her loving husband, Samuel Koike of Albuquerque, NM; her father, Onesimo Rios; daughters, Lorraine Koike and her partner Nancy Hills, of Albuquerque, NM, Tracy Koike-Castaneda and her husband John, of Grants, NM, Samantha Christopher and her husband Sean, of Rio Rancho, NM; six grandchildren, Sean (Jr).and Samuel Christopher, Shanise, Domonique, Amaya, and Karliz Castaneda; sisters, Lucy Moorehead, Helen Burke, and Jeannie Teran; brothers, Rudy and Robert Rios. A Rosary to be recited on Thursday, November 1, 2012, 7:00 pm, at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road, Rio Rancho. Mass of Catholic Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 2, 2012, 10:00 am, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd NW, Albuquerque. Celebrant will be Father John C. Daniel.
