Age 87, resident of Rio Rancho, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 7, 2014 after years of struggle with progressively disabling physical conditions. She was born in Watford City, ND on June 17, 1927, to Edward and Julia Yoerg (nee Croff).

Marilynn is survived by her husband, Gene Koppe; daughters, Delnita, Julie, Pamela; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

In 1945, she and her first husband, Delmar Evans were married and subsequently gave birth to three daughters, to whom she still represents the perfect example of motherhood. Marilynn had a career with JC Penny Company spanning 31 years and progressed from her beginning as a floor clerk, in Williston, ND, to a position of department manager in Albuquerque, NM. After the death of Del Evans, she married Gene Koppe in Rancho Cucamonga, CA before returning to the Albuquerque area in retirement.

A Memorial Rosary will be recited at 10:00 am with the Memorial Mass following at 10:30 am October 22, 2014, at the Church of the Incarnation, 2309 Monterrey Road NE, Rio Rancho, NM. To view or leave a condolence please visit www.danielsfuneral.com
