Marilyn Mascarenas

Mascarenas, Matushka Marilyn Age 55, reposed in the Lord on Friday, August 30, 2013. She was born on January 23, 1958. Marilyn loved sewing, quilting and hand crafts. She was a Special Ed Teacher for APS. Marilyn attended New Mexico State and UNM. She was an avid baseball fan, loved the Mets and the Isotopes. Marilyn was a drummer in several Scottish bag pipe bands. She was very active in the Eastern Orthodox churches in New Mexico. Marilyn is survived by husband, David Mascarenas of 15 years; brothers, Ken Buhl and wife Mary Ann and Art Buhl and wife Susan; sister, Barbara Huff and husband Tom. She will be greatly missed by numerous friends and relatives. Trisagion Prayers will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at Daniels Family Funeral Services on Coal. Funeral service will take place on Monday, September 2, 2013 at 10:00 am at Saint George Greek Orthodox 308 High St SE, Albuquerque, NM.
