Marjorie Ann Prince (nee Friday) passed away at home on July 13, 2018. She was born in Trinidad, West Indies on September 13, 1929. She was the only child of her mom Winifred Friday. She was married to the late Charles McDonald Prince for 52 years until his death in December 2001. The union produced seven children, five of whom she lived to join her in the retirement arena, and two are still in the work force.
Marjorie was a professional Seamstress in Trinidad. She came to the United States in 1961 and resided in Brooklyn New York. Upon her arrival in the States she was able to receive her GED while attending night school. She then obtained her CNA certificate. Marjorie still was not satisfied so she went on to attain her Beautician License. Later she worked at the United Nations as a secretary until her retirement in 1985 and then moved to Rio Ranch New Mexico.
She was a member of ST. Francis Episcopal Church and was very active in the choir. She became aware of her need for a deeper spiritual walk with the Lord and we believe her words affirming faith and forgiveness. She was a long-standing member of the Lions Club. Marjorie was devoted to her family, cherished her children, and adored her grandchildren and great-grand children. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and her loved her.
